Welcome travelers! Now that you have prepared everything for your journey the real adventure begins!
Steady
It is time for you to make the first move from Xi'an to the place you have chosen as your first stop. Before we start, here are the rules for the game which will take next 5 weeks.
1.Encounters
During your adventure you might encounter some unpredictable sitations! Your wealthy caravan might be a magnet for bandits, the people might attract some predators at night, you might find some other travelers who seek wealth as you do or you might travel througought Eurasia without meeting a single soul. Every time your caravan is moving from one city to another you will roll a 20 side dice (or use this tool to roll). Once you have rolled your teacher will tell you what happened to your caravan during your trip and sometimes you will have to make a decision what to do to tackle the obstacle on your way.
2.Guards
During your journey you will be accompanied by guardsmen they will be able to help you during some random encounters and fight your way to glory! If you lose all your guardsmen your caravan will suffer some penalty during encounters. If there are no guards there is noone to defend and fight for you.
3.Teamwork
The strategist has the final word about what your caravan's response to the encounter is, however, remember that all of you are a part of caravan and it is wise to discuss your actions!
4.Trade
Once you have reached your destination you will be able to trade your resources in 1:1 ratio. For example 1 unit of silk for 1 unit of jade. The teacher will give you the list of goods available in given city once you have reached it. You do not have to trade, however, due to loss of value of goods (it was discussed last week) it is wise to trade in at least couple of different goods. If you have a free slot in your caravan you may buy resources with the money you have.
5. Achievements!
There are some achievements your caravan can acquire during the trip. All of you have already get Fellowship of the Bling achievement. Every 3 acheivements adds 1 point to your final score so it might be wise to plan your action in a way which will allow you to gain some additional achievements.

Journal
Write a page (200-300 words) in your journal about leaving the Xi'an, your adventures this day and about the city you have just visited!
